One of the the things that initially made the Internet a success was the ease with which anyone could publish to a global audience. These days, however, a simple web page isn’t going to get much traffic and many people expect a rich, dynamic mobile app experience.

With paper media magazine and comics the advertising often covered the cost of production and distribution and the cover price was the only profit for the publisher. On the web the cost of production and distribution is low so publishers can make money off the advertising alone – while providing the content to readers for free. Web surfers actually expect content to be free and ad-supported, and it’s a business model for paying the bills that has worked well for publishers of all sorts for over a century!
Of course you can use Ryuzine and Ryuzine Machine for free if your content is non-commercial, but with our affordable flat-rate “Commercial Use License” you can freely sell ad space on the pages of your Ryuzine just like you would a real magazine. However as a web media you can also leverage typical online advertising models with “splash” ads, “mobile banners,” and third party ad services.
