Jon D. Sloan is originally from Northern Minnesota, but now lives in the Western ‘burbs of Minneapolis with his wife.  He is a graduate of Saint Cloud State University where he earned a degree in Art Education, has worked as a high school teacher, security guard, and last but not least is a 5th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor in Tae-Kwon-Do, as well as a 1st Degree Black Belt in Haidong Gumdo.  Jon created Sa-Bom Jim in 2004 and since then has been a repeat guest artist at the MCBA SpringCon and FallCon comic conventions and was the 2012 Artist Guest of Honor at Minnesota’s MarsCon convention.
